Real Women Watch Football -- Now With Real WomEn!

Good news: RWWF has officially doubled its number of real women!

Let me introduce myself -- I'm Britt, of previously mentioned "look I found your blog on the interwebs!" fame. Apparently correctly sleuthing out the actual person behind a blog results in an invitation to also contribute to said blog (it was the anti-pink Pats jerseys rant that gave you away). So, you're welcome for bringing Sarah back, but apologize for the fact you have to deal with me now too.

Full disclosure: I am not a die-hard football fan. I've known Sarah since back in the day (it was a Wednesday, by the way), and there's no way I'll ever live up to that level of devotion. There's only so much space in my brain for sports-related activity and SOME if it has to be devoted to hockey. That said, I do like football, I genuinely enjoy watching the game, and I do harbor the required irrational love for a team (Da Bears). But for anyone that's seen that new commercial, on a scale of "I don't even like baseball" to "Why are they staying in a Cover 2 defense?! They're getting killed with the dump pass to the HB!!!" ... I would say I'm about a "QB sneaks are stupid. They should go AROUND the giant wall of impenetrable man-flesh".

When I agreed to this gig, it came with the caveat that most of my posts would be about how much Jay Cutler sucks and various iterations of 'Brett Farve should die in a fire'. Since I imagine that could get pretty old, pretty fast (except for Brett Farve dying in a fire. That'll never get old), I've decided to use my recent alignment with a self-proclaimed Sports Guy for personal gain and shamelessly pick his brain for post content (SG: this is your warning. I'm totally using that conversation we just had about the stupidity of the NCAA tournament, among other things). SG will most likely also be evaluating my general opinions and informing me when I'm being an idiot. I have big plans to still post said opinions, but know I've already been set straight (Ok, so apparently QB sneaks aren't the problem. The QB's the problem. Fucking Cutler...).

So that's me -- I'll do my best to post things in a timely manner and keep an eye out for my eventual take-over of the RWWF Twitters!
